John M went camping and took his friend Timmy. Off they went
to the Forking River Dam. They went to the Forking Campground
near the Forking Dam. They decided to visit the Forking City.
They had to go to the Forking Market. It was near
the Forking Gas Station closer to the furcating Forking River
bending near the Forking swamp turning into the
Forking Quicksanding place there where they turned off
the Main Forking Road. They turned Forking right there.
There is a Forking left turn as well but they had to get
to the Forking Store. They bought some Forking Beer made
in the Forking Brewery. They were still in Illinois. Forking, Ill.
Ill is the abbreviation for Illinois, so we aer all Forking, Ill.
For now. The men were Forking camping so they bought some Forking beans
made at the Forking beanery. The Forking Meat CO. provided.
The Olympic branch of the Mount Olympus Water CO. Donated
the Forking Water. They went to the Forking River Motel to steal
the soap and the towels. They paid for the room and took
two Forking Dam showers. They kept the Forking Dam Ashtray.
It has a picture of the Forking Dam River. The Forking Dam Police
were searching for the Forking Dam Campground to arrest the Forking men.
They were not from Forking at all but just out of townies they had
come to Forking Dam to Fish for Forking Fish. They went to
the Forking Boat Dock and rented a Forking Boat the Indian Man
in charge of the Forking Boat Dock said you out of townies speak
with Forking tongue. But money green in Forking Dam. Good to see you
Forking men. The Men in Forking Dam City are Forking gay.
The Forking City Future Club is Oddfellows Hall.
Eye am Forking, Ill. From all that Forking Fish they gave to me
the nibbles and the bites the love all tied up in Forking Ville.
They said that visit day is FrYdaY at the Forking Prison Institution
they have a Forking Fish fry for religion they want me to go
to Forking, Ill.

9am - woke up late.� fuuuuuck.� I have to be at the office at 11 for the 11-1pm (lunch) meeting.�

9:20 - Chez wants to have lunch this week.� Told her I'm in the office today so maybe we can have coffee after I'm finished with my meetings.� She's up for it.� Kinda' strange, I'm not sure exactly why she wants to go out.� I think she's being flirty, which is totally cool with me.�

11:10 a little late to the meeting, nobody is here anyway.� Mr. T and Slick are sitting there staring at the phone.� Apparently Thug and Cartman didn't see the need to come in for this presentation and Margie got sidetracked with some fucko SAN problem.� Grandpa Simpson isn't in the office, he's working with Margie on something.

-- We finished the meeting after going over the same data 3 times for people with ADHD.� Two people didn't bring their homework.� Asshats. �

-- Long protracted discussion about some SAN remediation project that's rolling this weekend.� Nobody consulted Engineering.� Nice.� OPS guys (Margie, Mac, Stewie, etc) are upgrading firmware on one of our SAN Switches and will need to shut down all the 2.5 boxes.� Which means ENG has to shut them down because OPS isn't allowed to touch them.

-- Requested Friday off.� lol.� Fuck 'em, I'm not staying all weekend for that and Tom and I were talking about going to San Diego anyway.

-- Got a cup of coffee with Chez.� We went to the coffee shop I worked at last summer (so I could learn how to make good coffee), and I found out that the owner sold it.� I was just thinking about buying the place a few days ago.� Very strange.� They've added a few little things and changed the atmosphere a little.� I hope it does well.

-- Chez is adorable.� just _adorable_� We had a nice time chatting and then went back to the office.� She gave me her number.� woot.� :)

-- Stood around and fucked off the rest of the afternoon.� Which wasn't really that long when I think about it.� It was aftter 1:30 before we got back from lunch, nearly 2pm before Chez and I went for coffee, and probably 2:25 before we got back to the office.�

-- Long "hallway" conversations with Slick, Mr. T, Watts, and others about work happening this weekend, bills from COX for my home connection that weren't getting sent to NW for payment, and just about everything else you can imagine.

-- Told Slick that I was going to go out for coffee with Chez.� He caught the funny.� lol.

-- Chez asked me to go out after work, actually asked me to split at 4 and go to a sports bar close to her place.� We went and had a drink.� She had 3 beers, I had a long-island-iced-tea.� nummy stuff.� She's a real sweety.� We're going to hang out more frequently and perhaps go to basketball games & maybe catch a beer now & then.� yay.

-- Ended up working a little late last night because I fucked off all day.� Got home around 7:30.� Bed by 1am.� yay.

���� I see what Mr. Mill is saying in that quote, but I don't necessarily agree with the statement.� I think that he is saying that when you stop being happy to wonder if you are....then you are putting a pause on your happiness.�� Everyone now and again needs to take a look at themselves and evaluate....If no one ever evaluated themselves, we would always be "leaping before we jump."� Another way I could interpret this quote.....maybe he is saying that if you get caught up in evaluating yourself, then you can never move forward.�� I sometimes wonder if I have done this....probably so.� If you are always trying to fix and concentrate on your problems, it probably is harder to focus on the happiness in your life.� I think that when negative thoughts cloud your mind, it is like trying to run on fly paper.� Your stuck on the negative...and like a fly if you wiggle around too much on the fly paper (negativity) then it will lead to your demise.�� These are my morning thoughts for the day...Thanks random quote!

My day today was a lot better then Yesterday's. I actually felt alot more confident that my day would swift by easier today. I think it might have been outfit that changed my whole mood. I felt more confident coming to work today knowing that I looked presentable for a billion dollar company. Those were the guidelines to follow when i first started here but there is way that I kind of bend the rules just a Tad for my own comfortablility. Who wants to High heels everyday and collared shirts. I'm more of a laid back type of chick but then again whenever I do dress up in the "Corporate Attire" My days seem to go by a lot smoother. I guess my whole issue is just to Follow Dress code.
Well, what lead me to dress more appropriate today then yesterday was that my supervisor called 30 minutes after I got home from work last night. She had the news that i had been waiting for for about 2 weeks now. She receieved an email from one of the Executive Administrative assistant stating they wanted to schedule an interview sometime With ME!!! But this interview was only done out of favor from my supervisor. My supervisor insisted on this interview to take place so the resulting news from the news is that I didnt get the postion! But Honestly, I really dont care. The position entails alot of tiedious work that i already know i will get frusterated with! I love my job that I hold now. Its so laid back and if i were to take some college online courses, It would most definitely not be a problem. So Im really happy with my current position. I have only been with the company for five months and loving it! The only that is a downfall with this job is i need more things to do to fill out my day! Other then that I LOVE it! My current mood is relieved because I finally got that Damn interview over with! This meeting Has been bugging for the past 2 weeks and Im extremely alleviated that its finally out of the clear. Hopefully there will be another open position soon that fits more my style!

IM about PFF prod stand up.� Told him I've moved anhinga and blackbird over to sparta.� I need time to do the app installs in Prod.� I need time to adjust the disk mount (made a note about this a few days ago) from /opt to /apps.� No biggie.� Getting the documentum app installed will be a little tricker since I've only done it twice.� I do have notes though, should make it a little easier.� Will need assistance from Pooh Bear to make sure I can talk with the database on minotaur.

8:30 Becky called. - genseed portal gold.� add portal admin accts to gold image?� it'll make deployments easier in the long run.� Force them to use sudo or add them to was group?� It's a pain to sudo, but if they start it as the WAS processes as regular users things get fucko.� Agree to make them sudo.

9:10 - Jerry finally returned my calls regarding BTI.� She reiterated that the doc I sent on Friday seemed to be fine.� She asked Ashy if he needed anything else, to let her know.� She'll pass whatever she gets on to me and I can respond accordingly, but isn't expecting anything.

-- Skipper probably won't be hired on full time.� Looks like they picked up a St. Bernard instead.� Wonder how long Skipper will be with us now?� Don't know.� He scheduled a meeting for the 23rd on Asset Management installation.

-- Slick wants me onsite Tues for our ESX meeting.� I guess I can do that.� I asked if I could show up around 10, he says meating is 11-1, over lunch, so as long as I'm in for food and meeting, that's all good.� I figure I'll leave home around 9ish and get to Skittsdale around 9:45-10amish.�

9:15 Mac is out for the day.� He's been fucking around with the prdvrt systems all weekend.� He says : "volumes are still copying but I can copy only one at a time.� Something in this system sends aborts to the mirroring process.� Please let me know if anyone has thoughts about what.� The VxVM mirroring technique for copying data has been stable on earlier versions of Solaris, ealier and less power full systems, switches and arrays."� It's Solaris 7 Mac.� What do you expect besides fucko behavior?

9:30� - Mr. T.� added a 6gb disk at SCSI 2 on delphi (LM .2).� Could you destroy the existing /u01 (2gb slice of SCSI1) and create a new one using the 6gb disk?

10:09 Rebooted laptop.� Right monitor is still clipping and tripping.� Not as bad as it was though.� I really need to check on the status of that replacement ticket.

logged into delphi and umounted /u01.� fdisk on /dev/sdc, lay down a new primary partition, write the table and partprobe it.� mkfs.ext3 then edit fstab to auto mount on boot.� mounting it up to /u01, no problem.� Send Pooh & Mr. T. note to let them know its done.

3:15 heading out to see Sofya.� Stewie Griffin says our named.log on our primary nameserver is eating up about 50% of /var.� I set up logrotate.conf to rotate that every 100M and to only keep 200M total.� Asked Gpa. Simpson to verify and asked Stewie to make those changes on all the NS machines as he sees fit.
